I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season that left you feeling relaxed and fulfilled.
At the end of 2022 I decided not to plan for the new year but to just let my instincts guide me. When I did that I found that I didn’t need to plan anything I just needed to keep moving toward the life I want. I needed to act. I know the saying is “fail to plan, prepare to fail,” but you can’t fail the new year. I have found that taking action helps me create a better plan. Especially when I’m exploring something new or feeling lost. As I thought about the coming new year, I knew that I was not interested in the typical new year’s exercises like vision boarding, goal setting, and resolutions. Those exercises haven’t worked for me for quite a while. Now that the new year is here, I have clarity. I don’t need another plan or a resolution. I need to show up and act. It can sometimes feel like a resolution or a goal is necessary when in reality, life is all about showing up.
