It’s a new year. I do not feel refreshed.
I ended last year with a bang! I felt really good about the goals I’d achieved and the progress I’d made. But as soon as 1/1/2022 hit so did the burnout! I am struggling to find motivation right now so this issue is going to be short and sweet. Here’s a shortlist of what I didn’t do:
clean my apartment
set resolutions
organize
make a vision board
take down the Christmas tree (it is still up)
On the bright side, I did everything that I wanted to do like:
binge-watch Love Island UK (I could watch Kaz all day)
spend time with my partner and my friends
go to sleep early
If there’s one thing I’ve learned this month it’s that listening to my body will never steer me wrong. Even if that means ignoring my to-do list. I hope you all are able to do the same.
Stop forcing New Year’s resolutions….like for real just stop
